About Mulley’s St. John Villas

Sopra Mare (Above the Sea) was built late in 2009 after fourteen months. This was my second construction project on St. John. The first, Villa Tesori (House of Treasures) was finished and sold in 2007. During its' construction I completed a comedy novel called 'Keep Left' which depicts crazy events and the island characters I met while Tesori was being built. My 2nd novel 'Flat Busted”, a 2014 fictional novel of high adventure set in the Caribbean. Both are now available on Amazon Kindle and Apple iBooks. I have met so many wonderful people that have rented the villa and now are returning and consider Sopra Mare their second home.

Bordo Mare (Edge of the Sea) is my third build. Sopra Mare, has proven so popular that I undertook another on the same 1.4 acre lot finished January 2014. It is slighly larger than Sopra Mare, with more amenities. I currently reside in Aspen, Colorado and St. John with my significant other she's taller, smarter, younger beautiful nurse. Hey, at my age - you either get a nurse or a purse. I'm fortunate enough to get a nurse "with a purse!"

Why the Owner Chose Chocolate Hole: 
I actually got to St. John by mistake after over bidding at a charity event in Vail, Colorado some years ago. This was the result of definitely drinking way too much wine by the time the auction began. By morning after they presented me with a bill for the event I had purchased two TV's, a shotgun, a pink Harley Davis Motorcycle and 7 nights in the Virgin Islands! But I have never been sorry about the trip and as a result it has led me on a long and winding road of adventure! St. John is very unique, approximately 60% of the island is National Park with numerous hiking and walking trails. Old sugar plantations dot the island. The more than forty beaches are incredible, most with pure white sand. The Caribbean water is always warm and crystal clear, often you can see fifty feet down with an abundance of sea life. The people of St. John are exceptionally friendly and eager to help you enjoy your island experience.
